On February 18, 2025, the 7th National Members' Meeting of the China Forestry Machinery Association was grandly held at the Wyndham Qingdao Xinjiang Hotel. This meeting brought together many members to jointly review the past and look forward to the future, injecting new vitality into the development of the chamber of commerce.

The meeting kicked off with the solemn national anthem. First, the meeting heard the work report of the previous council, comprehensively reviewing the achievements made by the chamber of commerce in promoting member exchanges, facilitating business cooperation, and fulfilling social responsibilities during the past period. Subsequently, three experts were invited to deliver special reports on the development of domestic equipment manufacturing industry under the current international situation: Researcher Ouyang An from the Equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Professor Zhang Yang from the School of Economics and Management of Beijing Forestry University, and Researcher Jia Min from the Center for American Studies at East China Normal University. Afterwards, participating members reviewed and approved a series of important documents, including the revision of the chamber of commerce's articles of association and the adjustment of the membership fee management measures, laying a solid foundation for the standardized operation and sustainable development of the chamber of commerce.

The election session was an important agenda of this meeting. After a strict election process, the new council members, supervisors and leadership team were elected. In his speech, the newly elected president Jing Xinbao (Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Foma (Group) Co., Ltd.) expressed that he deeply felt the heavy responsibility and would go all out to lead the chamber of commerce to new heights. He proposed future work plans, including strengthening member services, expanding cooperation areas, and enhancing the chamber's influence, which won warm applause from the members present.

The successful convening of this members' meeting marks a new chapter for the China Forestry Machinery Association. Under the leadership of the new leadership team, all members will move forward hand in hand, develop and innovate, meet new challenges with fuller enthusiasm and higher morale, and create new brilliance. We believe that with everyone's joint efforts, the chamber of commerce will surely achieve even more outstanding results in future development, provide broader development space for member enterprises, and contribute more strength to social and economic development.
