To comprehensively inspect the construction status of the company's safety prevention and control system, improve the company's emergency response capability to sudden environmental incidents, ensure early detection, rapid reporting and quick disposal of radiation accidents, and establish a rapid response mechanism for radiation accidents, Guangxi Zhengdong Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. recently held a radiation accident emergency rescue drill in the factory area.
This drill was based on the scenario of a radioactive source equipment malfunction in a production line of the company, with the radiation dose alarm exceeding the standard. It simulated the entire handling process from the occurrence of the accident to personnel evacuation, site lockdown, information reporting, on-site monitoring, and post-accident rehabilitation.
After the "accident" occurred, the company immediately activated the radiation accident emergency plan, taking measures such as alerting and evacuating personnel, and organizing personnel to carry out on-site disposal. Upon receiving the alarm, the radiation accident emergency plan at this level was immediately activated, and personnel quickly assembled at the designated location to complete the emergency response.
A total of multiple radiation environmental emergency personnel were assembled for this drill, multiple emergency vehicles were deployed, one radiation patrol instrument, two radiation alarms and two sets of radiation protection equipment were used. The entire drill process was handled quickly with smooth communication, meeting the relevant requirements for emergency response to sudden incidents and environmental emergencies. It not only adhered to the principles of "real scene, practical operation, and actual combat" but also highlighted capabilities in command, response, procedures, and monitoring. This radiation accident emergency drill further enhanced the rapid response and emergency disposal capabilities of the radiation emergency team, exercised the coordinated combat capability between various departments, and provided a demonstration for effectively responding to and properly handling sudden incidents affecting radiation environmental safety in the future.
